I know we might have just destroyed your club and dropped it to the lowest place that they have ever plumbed in history, but I honestly wish you all luck over the crucial next five years or so. I can only think of two other clubs over the last fifty years who have been in a situation as precarious as that of the Dees; Fitzroy, and StKilda of the '80s. I don't want to see 150 years and the rightful tenants of the 'G heading to the Gold Coast (not to mention what was the dominant team 50 years ago) so good luck to you all.

Most teams have had highs and lows, hell Geelong till the last couple of years was mediocre at best and had quite the premiership drought. I personally think we will get past this dark moment in our history. If history repeats itself we will be fine (I hope)

Maybe, but back then ('79, '80, etc ) South Melbourne was the basket case.
