How can Richmond be a 10 goal better side than us?

All I can say is, thatnk god this season is finally finished.

its been our worst season since the early 80's

Tackling was another area where they killed us, fortunately this is one area where we can actually improve in the off season. The thing that annoyed me the most was how Richmond could put a player like Deledio up forward who took a fair number of vertical leap grabs. They have options. We don't have any players like that, it's sad to say but we've recruited too many players over the years without the required attributes. Hopefully with some vision and good heads at the club we can now start getting some better players with real natural ability, skills and attributes.

Morton is looking like being a fantastic player for the Melbourne Football Club and you have the first pick in this years draft. It may be early days of Melbournes rebuild, but things can quickly change. Remember that Richmond got the spoon last year and we came back and just missed the finals this year.

Yeah mate, I agree. I'm mildly excited (as much as you could be after an 80 point loss and wooden spoon) about our future as long as we get it right with our picks. Not all our picks have been bad, young Morton will be great for us, but we do have a fair few recruits who we haven't done enough homework on IMO. I feel that we have better minds in control this year and beyond so I am optimistic. After Watts we need speed, speed and more speed.
