Disappointing, all of that individual brilliance and still go down. Far too many lapses and ill-discipline, Dogs killed us with their transition.

Too many missed tackles again. Big big concern.

Just where we are at this year, too much inconsistency in our strengths. Really poor composure in that final term as well. Great effort and a lot to like, gave it our all but a game we just had to win.

Grundy and Heeney wow we are lucky to have them.

Poor kicking for goal, from set shots is poor footy and we didn’t deserve to win

Yeah we had a crack , but one side kicked goals the other didn’t and they were more composed moving the ball too, ours was harder work to get those shots.


Effort was mostly good, but defensive work is still optional at times for guys like Papley and Blakey for instance.

Really was the goal kicking early that cost us, should have been in front at half time. Heeney what a 3rd quarter, thought a fair chunk of the team had highlights at certain points. McInerney is back only had one moment he’d regret 3rd quarter.

Blakey really struggled without McCartin and then Rampe not out there. Melican battled hard. Mills uncharacteristically sloppy with his disposal under pressure.

The pieces are coming together, without McCartin and Amartey it was a very impressive effort but disappointing not to pinch it.
