The tanking is becoming pretty obvious with the lack of effort, selections, poor coaching and players missing for illness/injuries other clubs would play through. AFL probably needs to start thinking about what punishment WC tankers should get, lose 1st or 2nd round pick or both?

That's coz they were poor.Port Adelaide 2011 territory now, 122 and 171 points in succession, Port had 138 and 165 in succession. And at that point for Port there was serious talk of them folding.
I’m what other industry would they sack a manager because the workers are ‘tired’ of him? What if he is burnt out and/or the players are tired of him?
Would have to ask Melbourne and the AFL that. Good question though.People throw around tanking word too offen. What possible reason is there to tank?
Because they have woefully managed the listThe whole football department and club executives too. How can a club as rich and proud as WCE crash and burn so hard. I think if this club ever recovers in the future, they should change their name to Phoenix.
And you will have another wasted season to rue shortlyYou'll have spoon #2 to remember shortly.![]()

Well a managers responsibility at a workplace is to get their team to perform. If their team isn't performing, then ????I’m what other industry would they sack a manager because the workers are ‘tired’ of him?
What a weak excuse. It’s something you’d expect Carlton to do.
Is the clock even ticking?
The Eagles board have their heads so far up their ring holes they won’t see it.
All matey mate a we’ll be right.
It's drafting plan in simple and list managementClearly the guy can coach.

The fall from there in two years has been cataclysmic
In 2013 they were 13th, in 2015 they were in a GF and had beaten the premier in a QF.
It’s in the space of two seasons that this has gone truly pear shaped. 4 losses by over 100, but by quite a lot over. I think he can coach, but something is seriously wrong there.
I keep hearing about the injuries, but what is it exactly? Is it that? I wouldn’t really consider Sydney that good this year. They may just sneak into the 8, MAY sneak in. WC are at crisis levels.
Apparently two sides prior to WC of this year have had a percentage below 50 since 1956; Fitzroy in 96, GWS in their first year.
