Well regarded??? Lol, what makes him well regarded other than being 2nd biggest member of the Dan Andrew’s ass kissers club behind you?

  • On April 6, the World Health Organization released new guidance saying that healthy people don't need to wear face masks to prevent coronavirus spread.
  • Masks should be for the sick, their caretakers, and healthcare workers, the WHO guidance said.

  • But we’ll take the word of a public servant over the WHO on matters of health...
You are a dangerous conveyor of lies based on propaganda taken from known sources of disinformation.

1. Dr. Morris was suggesting the use of masks following the outbreak of the virus in WA. The extent of which remains unknown. In these circumstances the WHO has said:

BXfln6R.jpg

2. He is not a public servant.

3. He is a doctor concerned about dropkicks who wilfully lie, deceive, and who are dangers to public health. People like you who'd have us in dire circumstances like India and Brazil if your disinformation and pure idiocy on the matter were followed.

1. He was talking about Victoria where if we believe our government there is no virus circulating

2. I wasn’t talking about him as a public servant

3. There is a very large difference between doing nothing and panicking and bringing in over the top rules. Like mask wearing outdoors which the CHO of Victoria said was unnecessary yet the leader of the DACP still made Victorians wear for months.

Telling people to wear masks again because one person who never went anywhere outside the airport or his home tested positive would be an overreaction.

I do wonder if Dr Pete has commented on the repeated failures of his colleagues in ED that are leading to ambulance shortages? Or the lack of paramedics and ambulances on the road? Or does he only criticise based on political allegiances, much like you.

Rubbish! The current matters in WA and Vic are inextricably related. And we don't know the extent of the circulation in Victoria.

2. I wasn’t talking about him as a public servant

Rubbish! You specifically referenced him as being a public servant at the end of your drivel

You're rambling about something he didn't suggest. He was instancing the sort of thing we should be mindful when relating it to Crozier's rambling rant about transmission which she based on one radio interview

Telling people to wear masks again because one person who never went anywhere outside the airport or his home tested positive would be an overreaction.

Again, rubbish. He didn't say that. He was offering words of caution to contrast Crozier's silly political attack based on no more than a radio interview.

LOL. You criticising anyone posting based on political allegiances.

Nothing to do with the matter at hand. But if you want to drone on about it, start a thread and we'll draw comparisons with your Liberal mates in Tasmania.

You are walking, talking, writing, deflecting disinformation spreader.

They think it’s a good thing we tie up firefighters responding to medical emergencies because there are no ambulances.
Firies are only ever sent to cardiac arrests. Plenty of times it turns out it's not a cardiac arrest but that's another issue.

They are only sent to cardiac arrests because they are trained in how to do proper CPR and they have an AED. But they aren't sent to other medical emergencies.

So performance of Victoria’s health system has nothing to do with the Premier of Victoria, wow, interesting take on things. Then again I suppose it’s not working so it’s not his problem.

We could also throw in fellow lockdown enthusiast Mark McGowan in WA but why are you bringing up Tasmania in the Dan thread? You get very upset when anyone mentions Dan in any other thread, must not have a response so you’ve moved to deflection.

They’re sent to priority zero calls anytime an ambulance can’t get there quicker than them. You can see them at a few shootings in the CBD as first responders.

But it was a program that was a good idea but it has grown to mask the real problem in lack of ambulances. I’m sure if our firey mate was on shift tonight he’d tell you most of them don’t like doing it, it’s not the job they signed up for. Plus a lot of them are longer duration so it ties up fire trucks from being available for their primary role.

But if a fire truck gets there in 9 minutes and an ambulance in 25 minutes, it probably goes down as reaching the patient in under 10 minutes and they tick the box, masking the bigger issue.

You get shown-up for your ignorance on one matter then go into whataboutism on another.

As for the Tasmania reference I was responding to you drivelling on about ambulances (which had nothing to do with the matter at hand) suggesting if you want to discuss that matter start a thread and we'll compare the shambles there on that topic with Victoria.

Well the Ambulance matter in Victoria was already being discussed here tonight, but no surprises you’d be ignoring that.

But it is relevant to a doctor commenting as an expert always bashing one leader, praising another having no credibility if he isn’t willing to discuss failures by the health system he is apart of.

Cardiac/respiratory arrests are priority zero calls. They are dispatched at the same time if you are in an EMR area.

It doesn't mask the problem at all. It's a small part of a larger emergency response. There's more issues to fix than having firies turn out to cardiac arrests.
Strange I know plenty of firies who don't mind the EMR calls and understand it's a part of the job considering it's been around for years now.
Cardiac arrests definitely aren't long in duration compared to other jobs that paramedics and firies do.

So it's a bad thing that there's a quicker response to cardiac arrests?

Don't think she mentioned Dan. She was critiquing the Vic Gov't over tracing based on one radio interview.
You are right, also glad you have admitted that she was attacking the government not Victoria.

She was even more stupid than normal as with a competent premier finally in Victoria, it was unlikely there had been another Dan style screw up with tracing.

Do you really think Dan was sitting at a computer doing the contact tracing himself?

What’s this big outcry on Twitter from Sam Newman’s latest podcast ? Something about corruption in politics.
Both Andrew Rule and Sam has a podcast with the owners of the business, its a good listen and will make you sick with how evil and malicious both the Dandenong Council and the Dan Andrews led DHHS have been. Its a disgusting story of how Dan Xin Ping and his cronies started up a state run commercial kitchen and blatantly forced all the opposition out of business. For those already awake to the corruption of the socialist regime of Dictator Dan, this comes as no surprise......it will be interesting to see how the Danbois come running to his defense, spinning whataboutism and throwing smoke bombs to shield the cretin.

through my work I know a few people in various connections of that whole saga (some the food trade, some the food safety side). TBH from what ive been hearing I honestly have no idea WTF went on down there. Lots of conflicting stories, with conflicting allegations of council, cops, inspectors, and supplier corruption.

the only good thing about it is it seems confined to Dandenong (thank christ)

which bit was good that it was confined to Dandenong, the corruption or the fake listeria outbreak? Either way dodgy Dan has his dirty fingerprints all over the coverup!

In the past there have been more wide spread

As I said, I'm not sure what's going on, mainly because I've heard both sides have done the dodge on this.

Also this isn't something poli's can cover up. The procurement yes, but the testing is all under federal controls.

some would say you are biting the hand that feeds you...
in other words you are denigrating the very person you are trying to work into a ditch..
it can happen that what you believe is not what you believe..

In a normal set of circumstances you’d certainly hope that intense pain in your abdomen would result in way less than a four hour wait, especially if a GP has already flagged possible appendicitis. No good.

Thing is though, once that son-of-a-bitch appendix burst inside of you, its game over, you're ****ed. Very rarely, if any, does a person survives from peritonitis.

Therefore, I fear of what could happen if the sensation of appendicitis reappears. If the health system was ****ed in 2014 I imagine it'll be 10X worse now and I'd probably be dead from it in the waiting room.

I didn't mean to make it about me, the original premise was that woman died whilst waiting 6 hours, which is an interminable amount of time, for an ambulance However this is just highlighting the deficiencies of the Victorian Health system over the past 7 years has been worsened significantly.
Ironic that Andrews was the Minister for Health some a decade ago and the system worsened with him handling that portfolio even more-so with him as Premier.

Where's our electric buses and can refund machines?

We are in the middle of a 3 year trial. Qld are trialling their solar version, and Sydney has a pilot program (Sydney airport??)

All states are talking battery fleets, but dates mentioned are by 2030/35. May be a good move too. Right now I think (think, not confirmed) we only have one supplier in Australia, and the cost is 40% more than a normal bus (and it takes a decade to get that cost netted out to diesel equity). BYD apparently will be assembling here soon with a new JV, so this should reduce costs significantly.

On the cans, this was always a 2023 target. After SKF tapped out, the sector has been in a very delicate position, and it's only slowly improving

I was being rhetorical. The other states are way ahead of us
