Umm what milestone was that Dan? Cos 5 days later Victoria still isn’t at 90%, so maybe the PM will congratulate Victorians when they reach it.

It’s a good point, violence should be condoned if it’s against such fine upstanding citizens like John Setka and the rest of the CFMEU, but draw the line at punching bags that look like a politician.

Please, again. I truly don’t want anyone to pity me in the slightest here. The guy was a bad dude, a properly bad one (yes I have been known to defend actual pedos, but only professionally). Any my employer at the time did very nicely out of it.

I raised it as an example of a broader problem. There are certain essential services that should be run by government. Prisons are one of those. Now this was MAP, which IS run by the state but I put it down to a broader culture.

Edit: As much as I’m not after sympathy, I’m not sure why Ned_Flanders found this so hysterically funny.

Of course the only reason that Andrews announced the lifting of restrictions on Thursday was to deflect attention away from failing to pass the pandemic bill which was to be his crowning glory last Friday.

Needed the media to focus on something else rather than a failure of his governments.

If it wasnt for that, we would still be waiting now for those restrictions to be lifted.
