moira deeming has hit the ground running with her maiden parliamentary speech ..... bernie finn looks relatively sane compared with this nutter

Pesutto on ABC radio this morning: "she's a back bencher, can express her views, Pearson's actions are an assault on democracy and far worse."

Yeah, Pearson f***ed up and there should definitely be consequences, but the old Liberal "look, over there, Labor, Labor, Labor" is laughable.

Given Pesutto's history with the IPA, he's desperately trying to sound moderate, but won't pull one of his own nutcase back-benchers into line, or even acknowledge she should be pulled into line. The right-wing conservative nutters have him by the b4lls, like they did with Guy, and he's just an impotent figurehead.

But it is pretty to watch as they slide deeper and deeper into irrelevance

Oh, absolutely. It's annoying that some media buy Pesutto's "moderate" BS though, especially Trioli, who I believe almost sees him as a friend, as much as an interviewee. Some of her interviews with him in recent years have been borderline fawning and frankly embarrassing.
Edit: Ali Moore this morning was venturing into that territory as well.

the andrews legacy will forever be remembered in the work now underway reorienting the victorian economy around the knowledge precincts of melbourne, monash, deakin and latrobe unis

amusingly, conservatives will never be able to rid, change or even undermine that legacy ...... and that must sit in the pits of their stomach like a dodgy curry

I think his Legacy will be 3 things (all public Transport)
1. Rail Crossing Removals
2. The Suburban Rail Loop
3. The Second City Rail Loop

In 50 years people will be talking about his vision

Is that you, Dan?

Dan certainly doesn't mind 'getting on the beers' according to a few spies. He's actually doing well to have never missed a sitting day due to the 'Gorton flu'

Why is this a bad move? What do you think should be the age of criminal responsibility?

if you follow the news they report youths aged 12,13 are committing home invasions, assault. car theft. there must be a deterrent.
how would you feel if a young teen pulls a knife on you and they know they wont get charged.

i think 11 is fine

What would you do to kids aged 12-17 if they commit a criminal offence?

Its only the right wing media mate...the left wing media would never do something like this...
Show us an example of "left wing" media putting a politicians name in the headline of a story about an unrelated car park fight?
