It’s none of your damn business where I live, no matter how obsessed you and other posters in this thread seem to be [emoji2369]
But you were the one who posted that you were moving interstate because you couldn't live in a state with Dan Andrews as Premier.

Why are you trying to translate eddiesmith ’s bad takes mate. We get it—-you’re both trolls who spend too much time in the world of fantasy rather than reality.

The thread would probably be better off discussing what he’s done for regional, rather than pages and pages of arguing about him knowing where Wangaratta is on a map, despite it not even being his point.

For someone who always cries about “playing the man”, I’d probably therefore stick to the subject. Not your mate or a troll.

Ballarat and Bendigo gov hubs, kardinia park, regional comm games is bugger all? There’s probably more

I wasn’t personally stating that. Was merely pointing out that the point was around him not doing enough for regional (not sure if Eddie meant Wangaratta specifically), and not if Andrews knows where Wangaratta physically is on a map. Surely he knows where Wangaratta is.

You can have that argument with Eddie :)

can’t say i completely blame you for running scared on this one. after all your strong comments that you couldn’t live under the andrews gov’t so were fleeing the state made it front and centre. the fact you are still in vic years later show you to be unreliable at best and a liar at worst. which makes you the ideal material for being a ‘cooker.’ which you unquestionably are. just go, thereby lifting the intelligence of vic and lowering it wherever you go.

So the regions aren’t regions if they vote labor?
Apart from major rail infrastructure (complementing a newly-minted V/Line fare system), major road infrastructure, housing, hospitals, schools, parks, this Government is doing bugger all for the regions. And - of course - anything that is being done is just a cynical vote buying exercise.

No, I’m not wrong, just because he lived in Wangaratta when he was a kid doesn’t mean he can find anywhere in the North East or changes the fact for a alleged regional person, he hasn’t done a thing for regional Victoria or his old stomping ground in 8 years of neglect.
I'm liking the cheap V Line bus tickets and rejuvenation of TAFE in the regions.

Whilst mindless cheerleading with zero criticism of a politician or critical thinking is ok because this really just is the Dan Andrews Ass Kissers Club.
Then criticise rather than a good old fashioned pommy whinge.

Hey dick, were you on the meth when this was announced?

You suggested that he'd delivered three projects to regional Victoria since becoming Premier and only in the regional seats that Labor held.

People have responded with a laundry list of massive upgrades across the state in rail/road infrastructure, health, education, recreation, housing, parks and the freaking Commonwealth Games and you're calling it "mindless cheerleading".

Yeah, I can tell you which contribution in this thread is mindless. Go have a cry.

The V/Line fares has the potential to be a massive vote winner. At a time of increasing cost-of-living pressures, I know my fare is now a third of what is was last week. Considering no Australian commuter rail system works at even break-even, it's a question of degrees of subsidisation, but as far as commuters are concerned, this can only be a win for Andrews.

Is also has the chance to be a vote loser. Cheap fares are no good if the trains are sardine cans.

How did this Wangaratta stuff start?

Isn't that where Andrews went to school?

I'm not sure it will encourage that much more patronage. COVID changed a bit of behaviour with the car alone seeming a safer bet for some. I think it will be more a winner among people who kept riding the train.

If service suffers due to a related deterioration in maintenance due to lack of investment, then I can see your point.
