Beating the Saints is no gimme though. We were lucky to beat them last time when we had plenty of reason to fire up, after a pasting in the media all week. Ross Lyon has made a play for the tag of "underdog" this week, and I'm not surprised. The degree of complacency on here about this final staggers me, to be honest. Collingwood supporters must have awfully short memories because currently we can't recall as recently as round 22.

It's not really complacency, TRS, it's two parts disbelief at what we've achieved so far, despite everything, and one part fear at what we might win or lose next Saturday.

You might be on to something, as judging by last year we don't suffer as badly from complacency during finals. Then again, I don't think we were favourites for any of our games last finals series... possibly the Swans game.
