I did for some reason..
Got 2 lots of the DLC codes because the hero edition has the lenticular special edition inside it. Surprised at how good a quality the sling bag is (still wouldn't ever use it. Not my style)

Haven't done a lot in the game but somehow 3hours came & went this afternoon. It is brilliant so far and the pre first mission play, similar to infamous 1 blast site/collapsing car park opening sequence is quite spectacular.

One stupid thing about the DLC codes is the weapons count as a skin.
You can only equip 1 of the following at a time
Original Cole Skin
Kessler Skin
Reaper Skin
Sly Racoons cane (gold)
Samuri Sword
Golden Amp
Caveman Club

The above weapons are still electrical. Caveman club looks ridiculous. I like the sword and have chosen to play with that activated.

Bought this from JB earlier, $79.. what a bargain.

Just about to have a crack now. Interesting that it is like Mass Effect where you can continue your games from Infamous 1. Gave me the option of Evil or Good as I completed both last time, I just decided to start a new game for now.

I love how you don't have to press a button to sprint, just tilting the analogue full will sprint while a little less pressure slows you down.

I got back into Australia a couple of days ago and went out and bought it, and have played it for 2 days straight.

I decided to go Evil this time, as I went Good first on the original one.

I really like the game tbh. It's no Red Dead or AC:BH but it's very entertaining. As you'd hope, you gain new powers and you really do feel like a force of nature. I love throwing cars around, and some of the boss beasts are spectacular.

Reasonable side missions, not a bad story, good re-playability given all the Good missions I've locked out.

I'm a fair way in I reckon, the Beast is 300 miles away, I have I think 3 remaining pieces to get, and still have some of New Marais in darkness, so still a bit to go to.

Go to Options, then change skin from there. Presumably you have them?

^^ What he said. If you've entered the code, downloaded the pack from the store and started a game after that, it will be in options. Unfortunately each item is a skin on it's own so you can't play the game as a reaper with a samurai sword.

Not a fan of NIX. Don't much like the "3rd" island. The biggest dump imaginable and mostly flooded.
Still enjoying the game. I spent 2.5 hours creating my UGC mission the other night. I love it. Once you figure out how to combine triggers for events it can get quite cool. I created a pretty good ring run (grind through rings) with plenty of cars put up on rooftops to jump over.

Epic 2nd? beast you fight. (the one with glowing weak points)

yeah that behometh is awesome. Pretty easy though I thought, compared to those ****ers that go underground, the Hive Queens or whatever, god I hate them

Can't remember how far away the beast is at the moment but put in a fair shift tonight. Still haven't unlocked the second island so still a long way to go.

Loving the game though, and once again I've found myself cruising for blast shards a lot of the time.

It seems harder than the last game unless that is just me, but the amount of times I've been hit with a rocket from point blank range is ridiculous.

Maybe you haven't downloaded them? They may be individual downloads.

On the flooded (3rd) island Zeke shows you a "weapon" that deals with them with incredible ease. Almost laughable. (but you don't get to keep it)

The icemen enemys piss me off. They shoot off all over the place. Lightning blasts do nothing to them and grenades are wasted due to their movement.

Following possible (but not really) spoiler about a weapon upgrade which we've all probably seen...

The ice powers are a level 3 upgrade and they're shit to use. Apart from the shield like in the 1st game (which when equipped takes the spot of kinetic pulse/throwing cars power) the rest have not impressed me 1 bit.

Ionic storm is way better than ionic freeze as it covers a greater area and picks cars up along the way.

They're supposedly better so I'm still using them.... For now.

Also, the "blast shard sense" power will make collecting all the blast shards extremly easy as it will always show you the direction of the next closest shard.

My UGC mission has gone up to a 4 star rating after 20 plays by others.
