i only picked this up a couple weeks ago. i now no longer have any feeling in my left thumb.

I legit ruined my gaming thumb thanks to this game (and AFL Evolution), lost a fair bit of skin in July... which forced me to take a bit of a break (and improvise in other instances!) - didn't get back to normal for months. As each time I thought the skin had healed well enough and resumed gaming.... it would go bad again.

I'm pumped for the Ninja Turtles, look like they'll be fun to play as :D

i'm glad i'm not the only one! i haven't played a fighting game since tekken 3, and even then, was only for drunken hilarity with flatmates. this has totally hooked me though, and as a PC gamer my thumbs just aren't used to this kind of punishment lol. terrific, accessible game.

I could play fighting games for hours upon hours (Sega Mega Drive II game pad was a blessing!). Could still do the same on the Playstation/PS2 era controller - many marathon sessions of Tekken 1-3, SF Anthology / SF Alpha series collections.

But something happened in the PS3/360 era, the controllers (even the ps3 controller which wasn't that different to the psx/ps2) killed my hands. Thus I'd only play fighting games for 15-20 minutes a day..... as opposed to hours each day. Oddly enough it wasn't until SF IV came out that my wrists could withstand punishment again (doing the moves on the D-Pad was more comfortable in SFIV / Ultra SF IV - compared to Super SF II, Hyper SF II etc). I think it coincided with the revamped 360 controller where the D-Pad was more flexible (and could be rotated around). I still struggled playing SF IV on the ps3. I could play Marvel v Capcom 3 better on the 360 than I could on ps3 as well.

But yeah there's something about Injustice 2, I had many marathon gaming sessions, early on managed to squeeze in 8-9 hours per day, an hour or so before work in the morning, and it was my game of choice aside from AFL Evolution as soon as I got home and hours into the night.... rinse and repeat). My Xbox was on so much that I reckon it was the key reason as to why my power supply died. Luckily it only took a few days for Microsoft to send a new one (thought it was going to take 2 weeks).

My thumb started playing up around the same time, so I spent less time playing Injustice 2 (would still have the AI fight in the Multiverse from time to time!). Have to say that I have not put in the effort with the last 3 DLC characters - yet to actually have Hellboy, Atom and Enchantress at level 20 (they're at 13-15).

I was almost unbeatable online as Superman :D. Preferred to play as him as he matched my play style (good attack and defence).

My current Mother box haul. I actually spent a bit of time clearing some of them out. Not the worst it's been - I've had every Mother box reach 300 before slowly clearing them out previously. Guild mother boxes never go above 30.

Only reason I dont clear them more regularly is because most characters are at the 100 item limit. It's a pain trying to keep the best items according to their stats!

:tearsofjoy: your posts are not encouraging (one of my best mates already thinks im addicted haha).

You should have got it when it first came out, good excuse to hibernate during winter!!

There should be plenty of life in the game. The TMNT are leading Fighter Pack 3 with another 1-2 fighters still to be announced, there are rumours that they will keep supporting the game for a little while longer (granted they'd be working on the next MK by now as well) with potentially more characters to come.

That said they'll probably do a GOTY edition in a few months with every dlc character. I don't regret buying the ultimate edition, the story was short (well it was long for fighting game standards) but online extended the game quite a bit. With my hours played, I got my money's worth.

Downloaded the TMNT

They control and play pretty good. I'd like to see another character get a Shredder skin (Sub-Zero) to have TMNT fights!

Their multiverse story was amusing
Essentially Krang and Shredder sent them to another multiverse... they tried their pizza which gave them extra strength to beat Krang/Shredder when they returned
.

Thus far I've racked up 411 hours (17 days - 3 hours) of game time, that's a lot of time spent playing Injustice 2 :D.

My game time average has dropped to 1.49 hours per day. I might be able to raise it a little, in addition to playing with the TMNT. I'm also trying to finish off leveling other characters to level 20. I've also competed in a few of the multiverse events this week.
