This really is a disgrace, I tend to be one of a very few fans of the series and each year we see the Australians come out with on focus which is to play dirty.

It gives a bad image for our AFL.

Also whoever picked this team did well at picking a bunch of spuds.

What that about the Irish ref! Just seen McKeever sinbinned for bracing himself for a shoulder off the ball! Also driving the knee into the spine is as big a no no in GAA as kicking a ball when another lads trying to pick it up is in AFL!

rish overreact to contact, seem to always get angry if they are tackled legitimately. Aussies like to niggle as they know this is the case. The game is obviously frustrating for the Aussies as it doesn't flow at all, its just a stop start netball style game where free kicks are just handed out for everything.

I personally cannot stand him, and stellatan's post encapsulates why.

I'd prefer that the game have some more aggression (maybe not to this extent) and for the game to be evenly matched with both teams having passion for the game. It irks me that Quartermain thinks he has the right to speak on the behalf of watchers.

But these channel 10 commentators deserve a roast. THERE JOB is too increase the excitment and enjoyment of the game, i was slightly enjoying the biffo until QUARTERMAIN starts his 5 min negative rant... really did a terrible commentating job, if he doesnt like the game go and say it in the newspaper not live when ppl are watching trying to enjoy it.
