Exactly and in response to Alex's post. I feel sorry for Sando he's trying to achieve something with one hand tied behind his back. This is his career, he might only get one shot at it.

Exactly my point from a few months back. A pure hypothetical that we miss the finals the next or 3 years - I can not see how can anyone on that board seriously look him in the eye and say his position is in jeopardy. They were the group that put this team in that position, we need a massive clean out.

That way, everyone is held to account. CEO, chairman, board member, coach, captain and waterboy. But at the moment, no one is.

Name another CEO who could cost his club 4 x 1st round draft picks (3 likely top 12), 2 x 2nd round picks, any chance at a premiership in the next 3-5 years and then still manage to keep his job. Everyday that this guy remains at the helm is a slap in the face to the supporter base. I agree, but sadly there is a mentality within a large part of our supporter that actually think we have the best Board, CEO and Chairman in Football. To them Trigg and co are the heroes who are up against the evil and corrupt Victorian football empire.

It made my stomach churn when I read that Trigg got a standing ovation from the supporters at the season launch. Sadly there's too many of our supporters who are ignorant and insular to know any better and the boys club down at the club has been allowed to thrive because of this mindset.

In 22 years of following the Crows, I have only been embarrassed to say I was a crows supporter twice.

Once in 2003 at Norwood oval (pre season match) when the Crows blue fiancé bargain stood as one and just started clapping and cheering him as he walked around the boundary line and that night at the AGM when they gave him (Trigg) a round of applause. I just cringed both times with embarrassment.

Ever since Tippettgate our club has suffered. It has suffered through fines, suspensions and worse of all loss of draft picks. The loss of draft picks and Tippett for nothing is unacceptable. Last year we should have had three first round draft picks and a second, which would have brought in some youngsters with potential. In reality we all know what we did get. I have no doubt that it has some effect on the group, and once you loose the edge you find yourself in the bottom half real quick. It's hard to regain form, and I fear this may be our fate for the near future. Back to middle of the road.
Triggy has cost our club so much I vomit in my mouth every time I think of him. I didn't renew our memberships this year in protest of Triggy but the club won't miss my money and really don't care.
So for me my hopes of success in finals is gone. I am now mostly interested in watching the development of our young guys like Crouch, Laird, Lyons, Kerridge, Atkins, Siggins, CYE etc.

Unfortunately the coach has his hands tied due to his incompetance. There are and will be 4/5 list fillers on the Adelaide List due to his decision . Take a line through our better performing neighbours and who is a part of driving their resurgence. 1st round draft picks for the last 2 years. We dont have this option due to our CEO having the skills to negotiate a deal correctly in his previous role. No room for mistake for Rendell and this has more potential for more onfield damage let alone the reputation off field that has been damaged as well

And as a final insult he squandered tens of thousands hiring top QCs for the Tippett hearing, only to bend over, plead guilty and take whatever punishment the AFL dished out anyway. Here's a hint Trigg, if the strategy is to turn over the books to the AFL, admit guilt and then beg for mercy and take what you get, Dennis ****ing Denuto can get you just as good a result. Even the club's handling of this was wasteful and incompetent.
