How time flies. I remember the night at Festival Hall to keep North South like it was yesterday. And the reason I remember it so well, is it was just a few days after Cliff Young won the Sydney to Hobart Ultra-Marathon. That's gumboots to glory right there my friends. Very appropriate.

To me, James Brayshaw ( and Eugene Arocca) put PRIDE back into our Club.

No doubt Jim Bob deserves a great, big, Leigh Brown style bum pat as he heads out the door, as does Ron Joseph and many others that have been mentioned already in this thread - but especially Peter Scanlon, Peter de Rauch, Bob Ansett, and Eugene Arocca.

But I'd also like to acknowledge the two other board members - Mark Brayshaw and Fulvio Inserra - whose votes tied up the motion to relocate. They each made a courageous decision, in some ways against their own interests. JB gets the glory, RJ gets the respect, but these two guys were equally significant in blocking that motion.
