Certainly a bit fumbly today, been a bit disappointing but I'm pretty sure he'll be fringe anyway. Hibberd started to come into it late in that quarter.
Just disappointing as a fan wanting to see some of the young kids play, playing against a side that is clearly playing at a higher intensity level just doesn't promote that at all.
Should just have 4 full rounds in 4 weeks and the coaches can deal with when to rest who imo.

Oliver on the other hand could be even better than I thought. The kid is a freak.
I know it is only a pre season match but the Demons look fantastic.

Dees look very impressive. Blues rusty. And doing weird shit with the interchange.

Carlton look absolutely horrible. There haven't named a weak side either. Bottom 2 side I reckon
Feel bad for Carlton fans they won't be seeing finals action for a few years.
It is all intensity my friend, we are just out here for match fitness in week 1 while melbourne are drilling for round 1 with their last home game

In fairness their mid isn't that bad. Cripps and Gibbs are good mids. Their forward line is the issue for mine

We've seen 4 teams so far step into JLT for the first time, Carlton now number 5. All have looked ordinary in their first JLT. Nothing to concerning, not saying Carlton are finals bound, but this result isn't as bad as it seems
