Having said that I will support De Goey as a Collingwood player, but I cant feel any emotional attachment to De Goey the player as I do for players like Mihocek, or Pendles or Ginnivan or previously say for Picken or Craig Davis or Peter McKenna.

I know De Goey wouldn't give a sh** what I feel or think but his involvement with the club has lessoned my zeal somewhat for the club which is the first time I have ever felt this since I started barracking for Collingwood as a kid.

Now for Oliver Henry.

Your zeal will return when he wins a Norm Smith medal and our 16th flag.

They were never going to be fully removed. Jdg had by all accounts had agreed to the majority of them. Whether or not they have been tweaked or watered down, we might never know, but it might be incorrect to assume the club didn’t budge an inch.

If we were that desperate we’d just offer him a mil a year and blow everyone else away. We have the cap space.

We’ve made it extremely clear that we want and need to hit the draft, so there’s no way we’re trading a top 10 pick away for a guy that carries a huge risk, like Jordy does.

What's the huge risk? As a footballer there isn't one.

If it's off field behaviour/partying most people chill out with age. Doubt he gets worse from here.

Because no one ever holds the journalists to account when they are so very wrong! There are zero repercussions for erroneous reporting or flagrant speculation. Their reputations don't even seem to get tarnished! It's absolutely bizarre.

I don't think he ever had an issue with signing some behavioural clauses. All he wanted was more clarity around those and his team felt the wording was too broad in scope. This is what I understood from the beginning. All of the rest was speculation, media hype and click bait

Zero AA’s to Steele’s 2, Steele two top 5 finishes in the Brownlow, Jordan’s best looks like a tie for 28th. Most votes in a season 12, Steele 26.

He won’t be our best, and we won’t do whatever it takes to get him.

Jordy has only recently become a mid. His best footy and accolades are ahead of him.
