I noticed Josh Kennedy and Josh Kennedy have pretty similar games played, accolades, and are only a year apart in age. Interesting to think about who's had the better career so far.

Josh Kennedy (Car/WC)
207 games
519 goals
69 Brownlow votes
Coleman medal twice
AA three times
AA squad two more times

Josh Kennedy (Haw/Syd)
205 games
132 goals
119 Brownlow votes
AA three times
AA squad three more times
B&F three times
Ayres medal once
Premiership once

I want to say West Coast Kennedy because standing out as a key forward is harder and he's one of the only forwards that's been able to be in the conversation with Franklin at certain points in Franklin's career. Kennedy's sublime record in finals makes it hard, though. Tough one.

I tend to agree, but it's always a bit unfair that winning a flag elevates a player, given it's a team achievement. Richo, Bucks, Harvs, Roo, etc etc etc - so many greats of the game never won a flag.

I think his post was less about the flag win though and more about his personal records in finals and big matches. Sydney's Kennedy has been a colossus in finals.

JPK is underrated.

Brings his best against the best every week, then in September he cranks it up to 11.
