Jumper clash fails

What's going on with AFL's white short policy? It definitely still exists because GWS wore white shorts against Brisbane this year at home.

If Collingwood were wearing white shorts last night the clash is much better.

They wear their white strip away against us, so it’s a recognised clash.

But we don’t wear ours against them.

There’s the AFL for ya

yeah. Essendon in White shorts was making things a lot worse.

Seriously, even people who hate clash strips should see how stupid the white short policy is.

“What colours are Geelong?”

“Navy and white”

“Can we make them one or the other?”

“Well... we can make them mostly white..”

“Nah... leave em in navy and white”

“Ok, what about Collingwood?”

“Well they have a black strip, and a white strip”

“Hmmm...”

“Let’s mix the black and white strips”

“Done. What’s for lunch?”

In every long shot it looks like there's only one team out there.

Way to devalue what should be a marquee event AFL.
I struggle with glare from lights, it's bad enough on TV but if I was at the ground if I had a seat down near the fence there's no way I could easily tell who is who on the far side of the oval.

How can clash jumpers exist as a concept, when all they have to do is swap the shorts?

And yet they fu** that up?
If the AFL insists that Geelong get to wear their navy shorts against Collingwood, then a clash top is needed for the Pies. However, Geelong in white shorts solves this problem. That's what they have done for the past decade so why now, in a f**king final, do they give us this clustf**k?
