Ports salary cap has to be at the max/brim with the players you have. Seems our only option to grab someone in the PSD. Port easily have the best list at present depth wise etc so thats why we go there

We’re linked with going after McKay as a FA which will be 650k + a year so we have lots of cap space. Cap space certainly is not an issue.

It has been widely reported that we have lots of cap space.

Port manage it well and have a few bigger contracts for older guys ending this year (Dixon, Lycett, Jonas etc).
