And its common knowledge that the average footy punter and most media have been criminally underrating North for the last quarter century. And criminally overrating the Dogs as a team and as individuals.

Am I saying Greenwood is better than Boyd or Cooney? No, of course not. He's not.

But he's better than Picken.

Other players can be switched around, but outside of those first four elite players, Picken's influence in doing a job on the oppositions best midfielder has him selected.

As far as our list is concerned I rate Picken to be fractionally better than Ed Lower.

He'd be around the 18-25 rating on our list, but I'd sooner play kids with more upside ahead of him.

Only stats Greenwood has an advantage here really are disposals, marks and inside 50's lol. Picken has more goal assists per game, more goals contributed, more tackles, more frees for, less frees against.

From those stats it seems that although you all say Greenwood is now a true midfielder, it seems Picken is still more effective at that despite being purely a tagger.

Now that is embarrassing. But hey, Greenwood gets the ball alot. Maybe you should start a poll comparing him to Bradd Dalziell or Matt Priddis.

Griffen and Higgins would be top 5 at North, still. Cross has a bit of meat to him, but he is on his way down with Libba biting his heels.

And they could be more useful if he was doing something with the ball. Picken has more assists and goals contributed per game.

As I said, start a poll comparing Greenwood and Priddis. Priddis gets alot of the ball too. Unfortunately does nothing with it. For this poll it seems a pure defensive mid is more effective on the attacking end than someone who apparently has a much broader game style.

Wasn't saying Swallow wasn't a good player, just questioning why you put him up as a tough guy when his conduct after that game just came across as whining.

With Ziebell I used OBST's words, not mine. Was not trolling him on account of injury. Just questioning how tough he can be when the most one eyed supporter you have wants him in cotton wool.
