If this goes through, it is official;

MICK MALTHOUSE HAS LOST HIS MIND.

Seriously, trading a young KPP backman (who are almost impossible to find), who we took at pick 10 in a supposedly strong draft, for a 25 year old who will probably retire by the time he is 28.

We are trading a possible 200 games for a possible 60, WALK OUT OF THE BUILDING NOW COLLINGWOOD.

Obviously the Pies have a reason for trading Brown that we don't know about. Whether it be an injury or perhaps Brown not getting on well behind the scenes with the staff or other players, there MUST be a reason they would trade him over Goldsack.

Someone made a good point the other day about the nature of his injuries, that he's done both muscles or bones or what ever it was in one leg. Apparently from a rehap point of view you dont recover properly from it... Geeze we must really want ball...

So why would the Saints take him?

Surely they would have been briefed on his condition?

Beats me, my point is that of Dundalis', if NB goes, there's something we're not seeing here. Injury is the obvious one... but so is our squishy midfield.
