One’s a ball winning midfielder, one’s a power forward.
Christ that is simplistic.

Degoey will eventually move into a permanent midfielder once Elliot is back up and running. You are forgetting Yeo, at the same age as Degoey, wasn't an inside mid that he is today. Even then, he still spent plenty of last season across half-back.

Yeo's last game had him at 132 games, aged 24years and 363days old.
His team(s) have had 79 wins during those 132games.
Yeo has received a total of 4 three vote counts in the Brownlow voting so far in his career.
Fyfe received 4 three vote counts in 2018, all in the first 7 games.
(At a similar age, Fyfe aged 24years and 219days old, after 117games with 72 wins (ie. less than Yeo), Fyfe had received BOG 3 votes in the Brownlow voting 24 times. It took Fyfe 33 career games to have four 3 Brownlow votes games vs Yeo's 126 games.)
Yeo, on recent form, betters Fyfe in tackles, rebounds, number of kicks, metres gained and inside 50's ... which are all the areas in which I think of Yeo's most compelling strengths.
But Fyfe still has him for most other areas. I especially like Fyfe's scoring involvement stats. In a team that struggles up forward, Fyfe's SI numbers are Elite and shows just how damaging a player he is.
Yeo's good, but comparing him to Fyfe is a fantasy only West Coast supporters seem to want to entertain.

Yeo and Fyfe have matched up on each other the last few games between WCE and Freo and Yeo has got the chocolates each time. Yeo-3 Fyfe-0.

Can remember on GF day Fyfe was asked his tips for Premier's and Normsmith and he said he usually gets it wrong so he picked WCE and Yeo hoping to be wrong again haha really didn't want Yeo to win it.

Wow, that's quite amazing given they have both played against each other in only one of the last 3 derbies.
That game was 2018 Round 6 in which Fyfe had 27 Disposals & 12 Contested Possessions and Yeo had 19 DIs with 9 CPs.
(Fyfe also scored more Fantasy points and was named in Freo's best, Yeo wasn't in West Coast's best).

(NB: Yeo got the cookies in R6 of 2018 when West Coast kept Fyfe closely tagged. Yeo was one of those tagging, there was several. Fyfe had 19 DIs & 8 CPs, Yeo 32 DIs & 8 CPs. In their 3rd last game against each other, 2016 R3, Fyfe again had a better game than Yeo.)

Fyfe is better than Yeo. Were it not for injuries to Fyfe he probably would have carried on in the top few players in the league. He might still get there again. Yeo has been excellent recently, but his best isn't close to Fyfe's peak.

any freo opinion is basically worthless.. The overtalk from this supporter base is 2nd to no one

last season virtually every freo fan thought they have a better list than WC and were closer to a flag..Most had WC finishing bottom 4

but yes Fyfe is one shining light on a very woeful list

Meanwhile, Fyfe is the elected captain ... by vote from his team mates ... oh, and averages more one percenter stats per game in the midfield.

well known Fyfe is loathed by his team mates..The board basically begged the playin group to appoint him so he wouldn't leave after he was initially rejected for Mundy

and captain of Freo lol...Im sure Yeo is estatic with his premiership medal playing for a real club

Yep, you've got Yeo and premierships ... but we've still got Fyfe and it seems that's something you are very jealous about.
