I do love Cyril a lot, but I'm sure even if I went for a different club I'd still think Cyril was more deserving. I'm sure there are a lot of non Hawthorn people who agree. Cyril played forward for most of his first season, of course he had less disposals.

Anyway, it's water under the bridge. We don't need to debate the 2008 Rising Star here.

Sorry but the 2008 rising star was a no brainer, Palmer had the better year. Who would I rather in my side is also a no brainer (Hi Cyril)

Hawthorn supporters trying to justify Rioli as the should have winner is a bad case of the one eye goggles.

If that pattern continues (06' Pearce, 08' Palmer), that means Hanneberry will be just like Pearce and Palmer!!

Don't think anyone else has posted this yet, Dees to wear special "St. Patties day" jumper. I kinda like it, and with Jim Stynes at the club, seems very appropriate.

That looks preety nice I guess the AFL is trying to follow the US leagues which some teams wear St Patties Unis

Nice! Very Celtic-y.

That actually looks really good, it looks like it's only going to be a training jumper though.

And it's great to see New Balance get the colours right :D

Looks nice. Bold move by Melboune if it were to be worn in matches. Great training jumper.

Do like. Green is striking colour, and so underused in this sport. The colourway flatters the Dees strip, and the New Balance template.

Yeah probably a training jumper unfortunately because the Dees logo is where the sponsor normally is, can't understand the reasoning for the clover if it is a training jumper.

One bloke does not a connection maketh... even if it is someone with a history of service like Stynes.

Carlton'd be wearing the Greek flag every second week by this logic!!! :D
