Absolute training drill. Cannot believe how bad Macleod were. Did not fire a shot nor have even a 2 minute period of decent football.

DC are a serious side and will do alright in D1 with that side. Darcy and Ewan ran rings around Macleod.

McPherson brothers were a class above the opposition today - They will both fit in nicely to DIV1 football
Both sides looked to have quite a few in the 30+ age group? Dosent matter with Macleod as they remain in DIV2 next year but how many of Diamo's best players are in that 30+ bracket?

I wouldn’t think to many for Diamo. I was really impressed with them today. They’ll fit into D1 nicely if they keep that list.

Macleod well I think Scooter, Legget would be close to the end. Who knows what Hurley does but Barden surely goes around again.

South look to have signed most of their good players so I think they’ll bounce back up.

I think the only DC players over 30 are Keating and Searl.

If that's cooper Hayes from Richmond look out he can play. I saw if dominate a grand final for Richmond ammos against lower plenty in the early 90's! I don't think he will make a comeback but he would put some fear in a few opposition players!

Not sure if its the correct forum, but South Morang getting the signatures of the 4 blokes they announced the other day is an incredible effort, especially Cumberland who would have had massive interest after South got relegated.

I expect they bounce back hard in 2026.

There reserves played finals in D1 and theyre 19s finished top of Div 2.

They are almost unbackable favourites to win next year.

Wouldn't be surprised if we see a few retirement posts from Macleod in the next coming weeks. Don't think they'll have a chance next year

Diamo on paper are the ones that look like the better proposition but Macleod can definitely win it and perhaps as a club and when it comes to the crunch, may just be a bit more hungrier for the challenge of Div 1.

Seniors, reserves & 19s playing in GF’s I think there has been a desire for that club to get to Div 1 for a long time. Well done on seeing it through.

I think Macleod needs to recruit from inside division 2, the past 2 years they have struggled with recruitment only picking ex legends like Brad Legget. The Hogg Boys are an exception though and have been great pickups.
