List Mgmt. NGA, Father son watch

I'm not convinced having a lot of players with toddlers is necessarily going to help us being more successful.
It was more a thought of lack of father son's in the future more so than any running commentary on the current team's life decisions and weather it's synonymous with success in the now

It's only an issue if they stop reproducing completely. We still get F/S kids if they wait until after their playing careers have finished, before popping out the sproglets.

That's not totally correct, if they're in our AFL designated NGA zone they're eligible i.e. Pt. Augusta's Tariek Newchurch and Isaac Keeler were both available to us.
Nah, that's not true.
The AFL removes indigenous players from the vast majority of our NGA zones. For instance, metro we can have access to African kids, but not Aboriginals. Port Lincoln was removed because it was a high producer of aboriginal players.
They left in areas with no real historical success.
So we got APY lands and some other areas.

The same thing happened in WA, but aboriginal kids were not excluded from the Victorian teams NGA areas, metro or country, and the Vic clubs also has access to aboriginal kids in Tasmania if it was in their zones.

It was the AFL giving their Victorian clubs a leg up compared to the SA and WA clubs.

Anyone know if young indigenous lad Zachariah Amos is in our Crows Academy, down fron South Augusta to play for the Roosters U16's this season, same path traveled by Tariek Newchurch (West Augusta).

Eddie Hocking is a Director of the Clontarf Foundation and works with a lot of the young indigenous lads in the area.

Do we really only have 5 current players who are Dad's?? Tex, Crouch, Milera, Neale-Bullen and Jones??

There's only one player on our list who is older now than I was when my first kid was born. The majority are under 25, and focused on building an AFL career. They'll have kids when they're ready.

Edit: ...I respond, to a post from more than a month ago

Looks likely to make the Vic Country final squad for the 2025 Nationals I would think.

No surprise his coach highlights his skills, as I've mentioned before to be doing the kick ins for the Gippy Power as an underager is quite rare.

I have no doubt we will pick him up if he continues to develop well this season.
Given how we played on the weekend his skills would fit with what we are trying to do.

Says he models his game on Will Day and Max Michalanney. You can tell.

Q: Have you watched many of his highlights?

MS:
There’s not too many of them, but I try to watch a couple of replays of games just to see how he goes.

Nice driveby on his dad there haha.

Interesting he says he 'did his knee', ACL?

Old man had knee issues.

Well why don’t we do something about it.

So the names listed in this article are the only first nations players we have draft access to via our NGA.... Is this right? Or is it simply these players are simply in our NGA but they have to fit further requirements in order to be draft eligible?
