I was firmly of the belief he'd be a very good AFL player

Our recruiters obviously felt Venables would be better and from what I've seen there's every chance he will be its just going to take longer for him to show it

Be patient

from what I heard the WA based recruiters wanted SPP & the Vic based recruiters wanted Venables, & the Vic recruiters got their way! Time will tell the wisdom of that decision I guess.
