The diversity of new alien species introduced in Force Awakens was clearly appealing to the multiculturalist agenda. I miss the good old days when we'd always get a few sexy Twi'leks, it was just the norm. Not really the only example. The three main protagonists are a female ('apparently' the most powerful being in the universe, hardly anything like Ripley in Alien), a black guy and a mexican. Throw in all the different accents and other nationalities the film crammed in and it's almost like watching a UN summit. Posh British, Scottish, and even the Chinese make an appearance. And i'm sitting here like "What the eff is going on?"

Diversification is all well and good, but not when it's so obviously done to appease the masses.

Movies have always reflected the political and social norms of the era they were made in, so they have always been politically correct.

I understand the next film will seek to redress the current wrongs in the universe by including:

1. The cast of "Vikings" so the underrepresented group in the Empire being hot female Swedish blonds, get a greater look in; and
2. The Melbourne Renegades so Chris Gayle and his hardy band of PC incorrect followers can flirt with the hot Swedish blonds and create a whole new conflict genre to Stars Wars. It will subsequently be the Empire v Rebels v Hot Swedish Blonds v The Renegades.

Personally I am rooting for the Hot Swedish Blonds!
