Oh dear, this has become the rout that most of us anticipated.

After this game we will stand at 2 wins from 17 matches. We are not making any progress and we are now possibly the worst performed of the 2022 expansion sides.

This cannot be allowed to go on for much longer. It is about time for the decision makers to call Lauren Arnell into the office for a big discussion.

They haven't called Hinkley into the office for a big discussion after 11 years without a GF so they're not going to start with Arnell.

Be accountable? They're not even accountable for the men's teams.

Can we at least bank some of this cash for more deserving players in umpteen years’ time? Like a talent trust fund for when the AFLW club turns 18?

We desperately need the competition to become fully professional and for players to be well paid as soon as possible. Until this happens there will never be a national draft and until there's a national draft we have no prospect of getting out of the bottom third of the ladder.

Women's game being 80% full time jobs will only make the game and port stronger

This makes no sense. Adelaide are dominant under the current system and there are plenty of high quality players based in SA.

They key is that you need to select and attract the right players and you need to develop them. Then its just a waiting game.

Five of the best ten u18 players in the country are South Australians. There is no shortage of talent.

Given how completely shithouse we are I'm expecting the AFL to be fairly kind with our draft hand so hopefully we add at least 3 or 4 of those.

A discussion about a contract extension?

I’m not convinced more money will be the tide that raises all boats either.

Women’s tennis has enjoyed financial parity for decades, and yet with its ginormous worldwide professional talent pool, 90% of players not named Serena can barely take a set off anyone good.

There’ll be some baseline improvement, but even if everyone was safely fulltime, it’ll probably shake out a bit like what we’ve already seen.

A handful or two of Erin Phillips-tier unicorns who would’ve been great regardless, riding roughshod over comparative mini-leaguers.

Piper Window might be a handy get, granddaughter of Gary and this year's SANFLW best and fairest.

Arnell is a puppet just like Goldsack. Just doing their best to replicate the AFL coach’s gameplan.

Kochie and Ken both need to go to see improvements at SANFL and AFLW level.
