We started our aflw journey with such promise last year. Took all of 18 months for the rot from the top to infiltrate their psyche and programme. Well done you a*seholes.

That is now 2-13 and our latest loss was at home to a side that entered the competition at the same time as we did. I do not find that acceptable and if we cannot win another game this year Lauren Arnell's position has to be in question.

Our ball handling and tackling has improved marginally but our poor decision making, terrible kicking and lack of team work and discipline let us down. Improving each of those facets of the game is the Coach's responsibility but I doubt we have the personnel to engineer that improvement. Last week Lauren said she was not happy with her side's lack of discipline yet this week they go out there and there is still a lack of discipline, that says as much about the Coach as it does about the players.

Very disappointing as I thought we would improve more than we have.

I thought we turned the corner after the pre-season matches, the competitive first half against Adelaide and the win over St Kilda
