Alberton to host two pre-season AFLW matches

Port Adelaide's AFLW side will face GWS and St Kilda in pre-season matches.

"It will be fans’ first opportunity to see the side’s eight new players in action, including experienced star recruits Ashleigh Saint and Janelle Cuthbertson.

The format, number of players, game length and number of breaks for the GWS game will be decided between the two competing teams.

The match will be open to the public with free entry and will be subject to capacity."

I think we lost to the Crows and Essendon last year.

GWS are one of the weaker teams in the comp, along with Sydney. We should beat both of those teams this season. If we can win another 1-2 games and not get blown away in too many others then that would represent progress.

Not only a big win but 8 goals which is huge given how toothless we were up forwards last season.
