Not sure the potential of Tahau up the ground outweighs what she was doing for us at CHB - Cuthbertson’s not a bad intercept marker but doesn’t have the athleticism that Tahau has.

The Ewings forward experiment isn’t working. She’s a centre square mid and clearly more valuable in there than Stewart.

Teakle is still too slow and fumbles too many marks that she has two hands on - rather have another small forward tbh.

Richmond beat Brisbane last week by a goal.

Let's be honest, we fluked one great quarter against the Crows. Take that out and it was 8.7 to 1.1 for the rest of the game.

It really does look a very uneven contest. Basic skills are letting us down, and they are far more structured on the outside. There were four defenders crowding Davidson for that late goal, yet she marked with relative ease. Stoppage play looks more competitive, but we are struggling to pass effectively by hand or foot. Unfortunately Ewings seems a shadow of how she finished last season.

Need some serious truths in our side.

Skills are poor, our players are slow, and we can barely mark a player. Go back to basics.

Erin needs to be a permanent forward - she isn’t a full time midfielder anymore.

It’s robbing Ewings of more midfield time and building a Partnership with Dowrick and Scholz. Syme and O’Dea were all a very good midfielders for Norwood this year and should be getting a look in.
