We took it right up to North last year…..buuuuut today’s performance doesn’t give me much hope.
But I’ll still go and support the girls next weekend.

So GWS have been the most harshly dealt with side by the draw. Our draw has also hurt us significantly. Teams that have been lucky enough to draw the Bulldogs in the bottom 9 group have benefitted from that. Outside of the games with the Dogs involved, the bottom 9 has gone 4 of 23 against top 9.
What's really exciting for this week is our % Vs top 9 sides, and North's Vs bottom 9 sides. They are cleaning up. With 4-0 @ 489%. Meanwhile we're 0-3 @ 47%
This week is set to be a smacking.
We have the Giants to come, which on paper probably looks good for us, but really their form hasn't been that bad, they've just had a nightmare draw. Inside the bottom 9 group, their record is better than ours.
The Hawks game is really the one we must win. They have only beaten the Dogs this year, outside of that, they sit 0-3 in the bottom 9 group games.
Ess, Sydney, Freo & Carlton, looking like the best sides in the bottom 9 group.
Adel & Melb clearly the comp pacesetters.

Unfortunately she's been a non-participant this season, which is disappointing given her performance last year. Impressed though that Arnell has made the tough call, whilst at the same time reaffirming support.Hannah Ewings omitted!!

I hope she gets back on track soonest. I don't want to change my av again, it's a very stressful process coming up with the right one.

Makes sense as to why she was left out of the midfield rotation from the very start of the season - the coaching staff were awake to her condition and clearly not impressed.
I suspect they hoped she might get a bit more in shape and a bit fitter as the season progressed but it hasn't happened.
Gutsy call but the right one long term.
