Are there any players out there perhaps looking for a 1 year contract at the end of their careers before moving into coaching ? Ala a Hodge, Mitchell type scenario. Feel like Mitchell has had a great influence over the Eagles mids. A player from a very successful team straight out of the game so would have a great feel for where the game is moving and a great rapport with his charges.

An article on AFL website saying that clubs are asking about Blake Caracella who is the mid coach at Richmond. I'd be keen, but think he'd only move for a promotion to senior coach.

Imagine if we'd won the flag, all our assistants would be getting poached by other clubs. What a shame that would've been.......

Blake Caracella is highly rated and a major reason for the success at the cats and tigers. I dont rate hardwick as a coach. I would like the crows to bring in caracella with a succession plan of replacing pyke once he wants to move onto something else. Club needs to be pro-active for once instead of being reactive

Forgetting about whether he's good or not, Campo is a barrier for an up and coming coach with designs on senior coaching. You need to go somewhere where you're a crack at midfield coach or senior assistant. Our recent club history and Campo's own utterings wouldn't give you much hope of gaining the role you require to get closer senior coaching.
