Arsenal might even make a move. Don't think we'd sell to them though.
If it's Saha we might. It's not like he'd ever play.

He's actually a pretty good player when he does play, our flying start last season owed a lot to him. But to call him damaged goods is putting it lightly.

Confirms what I've thought all along - Joe Cole should have seen red :thumbsu:
Unfortunately, due to that wicked ashton kutcher movie and a Simpsons Episode (oh and a thing called fact) if the right decision had been made in the first place and Chelsea weren't short changed then that tackle never would've occured.

Proof?

We may have scored twice with 11 vs 11 and Cole may have still made the tackle out of frustration. If Chelsea had of been able to clear their lines properly in first half stoppage time the whistle would have gone before Tevez could score.

I can play that game too. Means f*ck all now.

The whole complexion of the game changes though.

It's like saying Chelsea would've gone into the final day ahead of Manchester United if they'd beaten Wigan.

Problem being, that's assuming they still would've beaten Manchester United. Everything about that game would've changed if Chelsea beat Wigan and it was a > 3 point gap. I'm guessing Ronaldo would've started.

Saha's Moscow dream

As the Champions League final looms, United striker Louis Saha says he’s drawn inspiration from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dramatic impact from the substitutes’ bench in 1999.

Saha, who’s started just three times in all competitions since the turn of the year, admits he’s unlikely to feature from the beginning against Chelsea on Wednesday. But the Frenchman, who’s netted 42 times in his United career, hopes he can still influence the game, just as Solskjaer did nine years ago when he scored a dramatic injury-time winner against Bayern Munich.

“It’s the job of the management to pick the team and I accept I won’t start the game,” Saha says. “But it’s great just to be part of it and it would be unbelievable if I could do what Ole did in 1999.”

Saha’s season has been disrupted through injury and Sir Alex found himself unable to pick the 29-year-old at crucial times during the recent title run-in. However, Saha did make the bench for last weekend’s final league match and says he’s fit and raring to go if called upon in Moscow.

“I’ve been training for a week and, right now, I feel very good,” he says. “To be talking now of a Champions League final is great and it would be a great way to end the season.”

Hopefully a great way to end your United career!

As the house in "Amytivel Horror" said to the family- GET OUT!

Premier League champions Manchester United have made bids for French starlets Jeremy Helen and Darnel Situ.

15-year-old Helen is one of the most sought after teenagers in Europe and United look to have beaten Internazionale, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Newcastle and Everton to a deal.

Helen, a left-back, is currently with Rennes, who United have now opened talks with about a deal as he has a two-year agreement with the French side.

"The player wants to go to Manchester United," admitted Rennes general manger Pierre Dreossi.

"And they have made us an offer.

"We will gather our thoughts and see whether we will consider it or not, but we will defend our interests."

United have already made contact with the family of the Clairefontaine graduate and his mother has confirmed her son is set for Manchester after talks with Sir Alex Ferguson.

"Nothing is settled so far," she told L'Equipe.

"My son has signed a pre-contract with Rennes and we called for a specialist to look at it. Jeremy is a stable boy and I cannot see any difference between living in Rennes or Manchester if you have a good entourage.

"I will spend several months and years beside him if needed and my son and I have talked with Alex Ferguson."

She insists that the move is not financially motivated and insists United offer him the best chance of progressing in his career.

"Internazionale, Newcastle, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Everton also contacted him. Money will not make his choice," she said.

"To him, Manchester offers the best career path."

Helen is currently a French Under 16 international and he could very well be joined at Old Trafford by compatriot Darnel Situ.

Situ - captain of the French Under 16s - is another player United have talked to and now they are closing on the capture of both.

Situ is currently attached to Lens, but like with Rennes, they look set to lose one of their prized assets.

Ill post it in every thread if i have to and ive posted it before. Clubs should leave kids in their countries till they are at least 18. At least.

You need to appeal to the authorities then. I agree with what you're saying and think rules need to be brought in (like in Brazil), but reading that article there were four or five other big clubs in for Helen. It's purely a matter of getting in first or miss out altogether.

I completely agree that it shouldn't happen, but you're not gong to get anywhere on an ethical crusade. Rules need to be put in place by authorities and I hope they are.

Dissapointing to let that goal in late. Just had to score one of those chances. Ferdinand has to lift.

Great to see Ronaldo score though. Fantastic cross by Brown.

United look more dangerous...its just whether they can use that in the second half.

COME ON UNITED!

Thankyou Van Der Sar. Thankyou Ronaldo. Thankyou Drogba. Thankyou John Terry. Thankyou Anelka!

Thankyou Jesus!
