JHF, SPP & Rozee all play the Port way so these 3 would be in the mix for a future captain. JHF and Rozee are young but show quality signs and lead by example. Pepper has shown that he wants to win and works his butt off for the team.

I’m a firm believer that you let a player hit close to their prime before making them captain. I’d let Rozee and Butters develop further for a year.

Wines or Houston for 1 year.

I'd like to see Zak and Connor with another consistent season or two first but definitely in the leadership group, so probably Ollie. I’m still inclined to think that SPP is probably a leader on field and within the team, but I don’t think he wants all the limelight that goes with it.

Wines seems most likely, but SPP tries his absolute best week in week out and often sparks us. He’d set a great example for the rest of the team.
