Tigers to go the sash in night clash

Richmond will wear its traditional strip in tomorrow night's Wizard Cup opener against the Western Bulldogs at Telstra Dome.
The Tigers were to have worn their new pre-season guernsey -- all yellow with a Tiger's head on the front -- but this would have clashed with the new Bulldog Origin energy jumper, which is predominantly orange with thin yellow strips.
"Our jumper clashes with the Western Bulldogs one and, given that the Origin energy sponsorship deal is fairly important for a lot of people in the competition at the moment, the Bulldogs have been given the preference to wear their jumper on this occasion," said Richmond's Football Operations Manager, Greg Hutchison.
"That's okay because we'll be wearing our traditional Richmond jumper -- the famous black with the yellow sash -- which we look pretty good in anyway . . . "
