Firstly no D.O'Keefe with the Hawks and no Laidlaw at
North Melbourne. Ryan Brabazon missing as well but has anyone heard any whispers on him or has he decided to move on from AFL.

My next question is for those who know the SFL, Sam Crichton who is on our permission to train list, does anyone want know anything about him and how he would go up a level. Shotties I believe you have connections at Syd Uni the club he's listed at.

Is Laidlaw supposedly looking for a spot at North? If he is, that would have to be Brett Allison getting him a gig. I hadnt heard about this. had heard that DOK was a chance with the Hawkers.

That actually would surprise me. But yeah heard a thing he had gone to the roos for a kick.

As it is he is not on the trasining list.

Started playing I think 3 / 4 years ago for Usyd's 4th grade, very very fit was pretty hard to match up on. He'd burn off a lot of big defenders and brush smaller quick defenders off like they were nothing.

I haven't watched enough this year to give a better idea, to be honest. I remember someone saying to me that he was going to play AFL at some point. I probably said something hilarious and relating to myself in return.

A HUN article says that Matty Laidlaw has started training at the Roos as well as Simon Buckley. I'd have to guess that only one of them will be taken as they will wnat as many youngsters as possible. So one of them in the PSD, lets hope they give Laidlaw a shot cause he he can play.

Will be interesting to see if Laidlaw goes to the Roos with Brett Allison there now...I thought that would have been a no-go for Laidlaw.

I would have thought Laidlaw is getting a gig because of Allison. What have you heard?

we probally should have stuck with Dan Okeefe for one more year if we can even think about keeping Henry Playfair surely he deserves it. Mitch Thorp would have been a good one for us to get up here he was pick 6 and alot of potential Imagine in a few years time Johnstone, Thorp and Jesse White in the same forward line :D:D:D

DOK has mates at the Cattery and they reckon he could do all right if given the opportunity. He did get drafted from the Falcons.
He is a mate of Luke Hodge, apparantly that is his connection with the Hawks.

Probably good mates with Simon Hogan who also is from Warrnambool. It's sad to see Daniel O'Keefe, I am hoping by some small miracle, he'll get re-drafted to us, but cannot see it happening.

Ilaughed at the first line:

Daniel O'Keefe knows he still has a lot to offer at the AFL level.

He didn't offer us anything.

Why would you laugh injuries have seriosly harmed his chances. I think this was his first year with few or no injuries and needs to regain confidence to reach his potential.

Brett Meredith has had as many injury problems, so did Thornton over a similar period.

Yet when given time this year to show what they had they too kit.

O'Keefe did not have an injury plagued year 3, he was given the chances pre season and was given key roles in Canberra yet was out-shined by both players we had in lesser roles and his opponents.

No doubt he was injury hampered early but he was not alone, Im not laughing but the implication was that he still has a lot to offer.

No need to put the still in that statement.
