Thirty years ago it might have raised a slight tut-tut from those using 1200bps dialup modems and paying per kilobyte for bandwidth. But probably not, as the tut-tuts would have consumed precious bytes themselves and be seen as throwing good money after bad.

Given we're all basically using internet connections 40,000 to 90,000 times faster and have free data limits we'd be hard pressed to reach each month, I'm prepared to let it slide just this once.
