I just get the impression that SOS is hoping Phillips will replace the need for both Warnock and Wood.

I think Cam Wood will be upgraded to the senior list for contractual reasons but I don't expect him to remain for long.

Not sure I follow? Isnt he 1 year into a 2 year extension....and we only have to include half of his salary in the cap if he stays on the rookie list?

Going out on a very thin branch here, but what about poaching Daw ahead of Norf (assuming due diligence on his upcoming court case, innocence before guilt etc.)?

24, played two absolute blinders out of 16 games including his 2 goal, 25 hitout, 8 tackles against the Tiggers in round 23, raw af. Always going to struggle to get a ruck spot behind Toddwick, and North have a lot of third talls, but we are light on in both areas. Thoughts?

^ re McKay and the ruck stocks. Forget Korchek, he's a free kick that may work in 2-3 years. McKay would play more as a forward than a ruck. Wood for me, if we can access McKay and Gorringe per say, is surplus.

when Tom Bell was unhappy about being kept on the rookie list, he agreed to stay only after assurances were made about a back-ended contract once a primary list spot was made available.

His trial is set for early November. If he is cleared and it is all over by the draft date.. I would not be against throwing him a lifeline.. He's better than Gorringe at least
