Gorringe would be worth a serious look, although he'd probably prefer to head home to SA.
Gorringe wanted home last year and spat the dummy, so I doubt he's going to Port.
The Crows don't have a heap of backup in the event Sammy is unavailable.

Although SOS may not want to go into a season with 5 recognised rucks on the list (Kreuz, Wood, Phillips and Korcheck already secured
Gorringe is a lemon.

I wouldn't be adverse to this through rookie draft.Wood won't survive many years more and the Yank is a gamble. 2 years from now neither might be there.
Whether it's Harry or Gach, we can squeeze a teen prospect onto the list.
true but I was angling for a citrus-related gag.22 games in 4 years and falling behind Zac Smith & Tom Nicholls in the pecking order would confirm that fact.
I just get the impression that SOS is hoping Phillips will replace the need for both Warnock and Wood.I wouldn't be adverse to this through rookie draft.
Not sure I follow? Isnt he 1 year into a 2 year extension....and we only have to include half of his salary in the cap if he stays on the rookie list?I just get the impression that SOS is hoping Phillips will replace the need for both Warnock and Wood.
I think Cam Wood will be upgraded to the senior list for contractual reasons but I don't expect him to remain for long.
I thought there was a cap on what rookies could earn? Not sure I follow? Isnt he 1 year into a 2 year extension....and we only have to include half of his salary in the cap if he stays on the rookie list?
I know theres a floor....not sure about a cap.I thought there was a cap on what rookies could earn?
Majak Daw should come to Carlton
Going out on a very thin branch here, but what about poaching Daw ahead of Norf (assuming due diligence on his upcoming court case, innocence before guilt etc.)?
24, played two absolute blinders out of 16 games including his 2 goal, 25 hitout, 8 tackles against the Tiggers in round 23, raw af. Always going to struggle to get a ruck spot behind Toddwick, and North have a lot of third talls, but we are light on in both areas. Thoughts?
Saw that. If he wants playing time, come on down.Port were very keen on him last year but couldn't get a deal done after the delays with Dodoro re Ryder. Gorringe had a bit of a hissy fit at Port after it fell thru.
Well I'm frequently wrong but I thoughtI know theres a floor....not sure about a cap.
"Goddess"

true but I was angling for a citrus-related gag.
Nope.Majak Daw should come to Carlton
No need to be so sour about itThat didn't a peel to me.
No need to be so sour about it
His trial is set for early November. If he is cleared and it is all over by the draft date.. I would not be against throwing him a lifeline.. He's better than Gorringe at leastNope.
Not with rape allegations hanging over his head.
