He has shown more on the field than sumner has. Weapons are his pace which is better than sumner.

Best position is to provide run and carry off halfback or the wing

At the time we recruited him as a 17yr old he was rated on the same tier as Treloar and shiel

does anyone else feel the rookie status is out dated and needs to go. What's the point of having players on the list that can't play unless elevated. i know there other factors like category rookies, and contracts. but they can easily be fixed.

I wonder why the league doesnt go back to the sort of setup where teams have 3 squad levels. AFL (seniors), State level (reserves) and state development (u19s) level.

Read with interest a geelong thread de-listed players who would we want to rookie .
Quite a few mentions from their supporters for giles and Holman so there's some interest from opposition supporters in those 2 which I'm not surprised in particular with giles . And to be brutally honest I cannot see the point in us drafting a Golby Adcock saad or any other de-listed players from any other clubs if we've just dumped 2 young players like Holman and giles .I would think we would go for a player or players that get overlooked in the national draft hoping to unearth another gem like a Betts .
