The long bomb to nowhere is classic Smithers at this point.

That to me was the shittest moment of the night. Had a player running into space, ignored him and just did this shit floater to the square. Deplorable and that to me is inexcusable by a senior player who was 70m out from goal.

Had Cumming available for an easy chip inside 50 but decided to blaze away as if he was still 25.

I can forgive Thilthorpe for his **** up, but when one of the guys who is supposed to provide experience does that then that’s unforgivable.

It's totally on Nicks. This is something Smith does regularly and he still gets selected.

Not Keays only mistake. Also took a greedy shot from 50 that didn't make the distance and took a shot off ROB (who was honestly more likely to kick it) in the pocket then missed

He is only good if he plays within his limitations

I think this is a good example of what Collingwood do well - they're okay with letting their opponent's worst ball users get the ball. Cos they know they won't hurt you.

There were times tonight where they literally sweated off Rob and let him get the ball. And Berry.

Honestly was close to walking out after that- I was embarrassed to be seen as a crows fan if that’s how we carry on. The team shitting the bed doesn’t help at all, just makes us all look like sore losers

I thought we did hit the contest though. They were just smarter.

Out coached, and out classed. Questions need to be asked of Nicks, but I think there are a lot of players who will be better for the experience.

Collingwood clearly targeted Rankine, and it seems like Houston knocking him out was the focus of that.

Rankine has copped his whack, but I'm sick of people who antagonize others getting off scott free when the person they're going after loses his shit.

As I said, I'm not a boo'er and I wouldn't boo Quaynor (or Sidebottom, or Moore), but I can understand why people would.

The AFL have also made this rod for their back (and players) by having penalties that are simultaneously arbitrary and inconsistent.

I didn't boo Quaynor but I did boo the c#nt Houston. I think the crowd booing Quaynor was more anger at how Rankine was treated by the media.

Not sure it was right to take it out on Quaynor. But I understand the frustration and anger and it's not like the media will ever take any ownership of it.

It pissed me off the fans booing Quaynor.
Same as those who booed Frampton. Some players we push out the door, I'll never boo Frampton just as I never booed Brad Crouch (We tried to exploit him for draft compensation) whereas others (Gunston for example) I'll boo until the day retires.

I was more than happy to boo Houston.
I can understand booing of Moore and Daicos (Latter didnt happen)
But Quaynor and Frampton? Stupid.

Singling out Quaynor for no other reason than that he was the target of Rankine’s slur was disgusting. Equating that to being tough is cowardly behaviour.

What changes would you make for next week?

You tell me...We need a big lift from our Leaders, Dawson and Fogarty for starters, both were awful tonight. A lot of the more experienced players did not perform. Peatling, Cumming, Hinge were very disappointing too. Murray maybe if Butts has another good gane in the SANFL, Dowling possibly though Luke Pedlar who replaced him was one of our more influential players tonight so he isn't getting dropped. Will Rachele be good to go?

No composure at all, even our better players made errors id be embarrassed to make.

Re: composure, our blokes looked "fumbly" but it was caused by Collingwood's unrelenting pressure which set the tone for their third-quarter.
Collingwood manned-up and always had someone marked to put pressure on them immediately.
One of their goals in the third came from pressure, pressure, pressure in an area of about 15 square metres near the edge of the 50m arc on the E side, then one of our blokes was flattened while trying to kick and they goaled.

The pressure before that tackle was incredible, full credit to them, and I knew we were gonna lose, then.

What evidence is there that Quaynor targeted Izak though?

I’m on board with going after Houston, Maynard etc, the ones who were clearly the instigators.

But Quaynor doesn’t seem like he was a part of that. All we know is that he was likely the guy that copped the slur.

I specifically didn’t include Tex in my 5 players who coped with the pressure because he missed all 3 of his relatively easy shots for goal in the second half. And his direct opponent (Moore) was the match-winner.

Berry should be dropped he's useless. Put laird in his spot. He's the same player but x10 better. Atleast he will win a clearance and touch it 30 times.

At least when you support a club like Fremantle or St Kilda you know it's a scrubber club that never wins anything. The Crows tease us every few years with the possibility of success, which makes it worse.
