Our last four games had us struggling to kill off the opposition. We did it against Ports but then we tapered off and we went into last nights game not at our best. We need to find that spark again....but will we.

I specifically didn’t include Tex in my 5 players who coped with the pressure because he missed all 3 of his relatively easy shots for goal in the second half. And his direct opponent (Moore) was the match-winner.

Fair criticism of the mistakes Tex made. 2 of the 3 misses seemed 'relatively easy' because we expect Tex to nail them.

I thought deGoey and Naicos were their best, and Elliot with 4, all slightly ahead of Moore.
Moore was an uncontested intercept freak because we left him unmarked and hack-kicked to him.

Oddly enough, while driving home after the game I was listening to 1323AM (is that 5AD?) --- Ratkins was one of the talking heads and they gave their (Crows) best player nod to ... Tex Walker .
It still amazes me that people can watch the same game and draw such different conclusions from it.

Just got home and lets be honest it was a smashing, Nicks was a deer in the headlights and changed nothing until the game was over....mate out midfield has been smashed the last 4 weeks and you still try nothing....we need proactive not reactive. .. this midfield will not win a final under Nicks

Kicked to Moore all ****ing night.

That's because Collingwood had two players sitting about 30 metres behind the contest for most of the game.

Moore pretty much ran around for most of the game with no one near him, the coaching panel essentially did nothing about it and just left Moore free to intercept any long kick forward.

Absolute dunce level coaching performance tonight.

We turned the ball over trying to switch play a lot. Collingwood's handball game was impressive but that doesn't mean kicking isn't taking the game on.

Filthy...love the guy... but FMD that sloppy cross ground and turnover killed our momentum and we were already having a very ordinary night. I knew we'd blown it then.

I think if your hold on the game is that fragile that one error can flip things around, then you never really held it.

There's always going to be something. Moore gifted a goal to his opposite number for instance and it didn't break them.
