Probably couldnt see Isaac as he was invisible most of the night. Not 90 metres out. He had Cumming all alone. It was dumb move and not what experience is supposed to buy you.

This is where Brodie Smith thought he could kick a goal from, with 6 minutes to go, with free players inside the 50

Agreed; they also don't panic hack-kick to his chest. The teams that are happy to allow players like Moore or Stewart sit back are smart with how the use the footy. They don't blaze. They spread, chip to players running out into space from stoppages, use it laterally, use it short..
Both Nicks and our Senior players are to blame.Blinkered, moron bomb it in teams (like we've reverted to being) have to keep even numbers ahead of the footy
GOOD: We won the inside 50s 50 to 49
Rachele. Was last night an anomaly, or was the reality of where the Crows truly sit exposed? I guess we will find out in a week or so, but what was clear to me is that without Rankine's zip and x-factor which is so creative, distracts the opposition as well as lifts and brings his teammates into play, we fall away. We do need to find another classy player with some similar traits. Last night I was feeling like I was watching a game from last years Crows.
There was a few. I simply tried saying about our mids and our sleep time we have in games and in big games vs big teams where it will get us.. don't you dare say that.He was a good poster before he became a flog after a win.
Last night was proof why some of us were sceptical and why gloating after minor round wins and carrying on like a tool was a flog move.
He’s closed his account now so he’s not here to cop it back. Hope he comes back one day to face up to it.
Maybe if we get in another 3 experienced players and another Davis-like advisor for him ...?Not sure Nicks can go another gear
This, depressingly; all of it.Outworked, outsmarted, out-skilled. They were simply better in every single facet. And like a good football side, they learned from their loss. Keane and Worrell chopped everything off last time? No more bombing. Hit up leads. They picked us to shreds.
Tonight was like watching the Crows of 2024.
Jeff closed his account? He was a good poster before he became a flog after a win.

Unfortunately that's the difference to how a good coach operates compared to the philosophy of our coach.
Noooope.Didn’t he kick a goal from 55 2-3 weeks ago?
I feel this is more a game plan issue than composure. This is where I felt our composure went missing
There were times when a player had clear air and instead of kicking - looked up saw nobody - then handballed into pressure
Not to be confused.... obviouslyJeff closed his account?
Thats cromulent
I'd drop him and pull Butts out of the sanfl. Can someone explain to me what Murray brings that means he plays in front of Butts?
Just read about the booing. Disgraceful and embarrassing. The Club should condemn it out of hand.
I wonder if Collingwood see Keays as a barometer for us?He had someone up his arse all night, so to speak. Normally, he gets into a lot of space.
Very well said. Could even go back to the Hawks in 08 and they got the flag, but it then took a while to get back there as it came a bit ahead of time for their group.Brisbane 2019 - first finals series in a decade. Home Qualifying Final against Richmond (flag winners from two years prior, and written off earlier that season due to form lapses). Brisbane got absolutely smashed. Went out in straight sets. They lost 3 Prelims after that, before getting to a Grand Final, losing it, then winning a flag. That flag was a ten year project and took 6+ years of finals. They're contending again this year too, obviously.
This is why we need to be Top 4 contenders, for multiple years. Random lightning-in-a-bottle flags very rarely happen.
We need a better midfield to do this.
How do you know she was a mum? Was she there with her kids?I was sitting next to a mum, she was a passionate, loud and at times swearing, we got on great as I can be just as bad. She was booing Quaynor all night along with many other players, opposition supporters and umpires. Did she fully understand the whole Rankine issue? Did she give a thought of what it looks like if you’re booing a player who was on the back end of a homophobic taunt who really hasn’t done anything wrong?
