TT should have kicked the goal. Big game players take on the responsibility of the moment. They want it.

TT panicked and gave the ball off. Its 100% on him.

If you look at the shot it makes absolutely no sense other than Keays made it seem like he was in a better position under less pressure

I reckon 90+ % of people at the footy don't really know what they're talking about. If you surveyed everyone, a large chunk would think Murphy is a good player.

Rankine has derailed our season. Sure we were in average form but in any normal course of events we might have recorrected.

We lost yet again to our biggest bogey team. Losing the most important game of the year so far is also not an anomaly for us.

I thought our mindset had hardened the **** up throughout the year after we'd finally beaten them last time. But no. So it's not an anomaly. Losing to Collingwood is par for the course. It's been that way for as long as I can remember.

It won't matter who we play next week, I'm taking bets we get the win.

Get the win on Friday night, make a Prelim and I'm reasonablely happy with the season. A loss next week and I'd be pretty devo. But I agree, reckon we win next week (but I also thought we'd beat Collingwood). The beauty of finishing top 2 is that safety net.

That said, considering it was our first final as a group, playing a hardened, mature team with finals experience, that's not a performance we should be throwing the toys out over. Players and coaches will be better for the experience. I just hope the coaching staff learn that defending deep for 120 minutes is not going to win you too many games of finals footy.

The thing is, the replay they needed to look at was the first touch. 1 angle on the toe poke looked maybe, the other screamed no. But they never looked at the first. was it below the knee or not? Who knows, they never looked at that.

They eventually did (yes it as after the final determination), but the commentary team spoke on it and it was replayed. It was definitely below the knee, but it then immediately then ricocheted off Frampton's back before ANB nearly got a toe to it.

I guess we will find out in a week or so, but what was clear to me is that without Rankine's zip and x-factor which is so creative, distracts the opposition as well as lifts and brings his teammates into play, we fall away. We do need to find another classy player with some similar traits. Last night I was feeling like I was watching a game from last years Crows.

GOOD: Luke Pedlar

Have held high hopes for this bloke since he was drafted and touted as an excellent mid-forward.

Injuries have savaged him. But still only 23. Has at least 5-7 good years ahead of him.

I really hope this is the start of him becoming great for us. He will gain so much confidence from playing a lone hand up forward in such a huge game.
