I would've like to see Curtin in but decent changes I guess. Although when are they going to realise that Strachan isn't the answer? He's one of those too good for SANFL but not good enough for AFL guys. No McSpudry brings joy to my heart though. Hopefully his days are over.

Mind blowing analysis from the post you quoted 😆

Given that Frampton is a regular at Collingwood these days and still sucks, I would have thought people might stop trying to guess which players would make other teams best 22s.
Some bench players from the top team could start on the bench for us?

Seems quite likely.

Wouldn't have thought before the season that all four of Butts, Keane, Murray and Borlase would have played a game together
When we recruited Rankine and Rachele I thought Murphy and Mchenry wouldn't play a game again.

Yeah even on Fox footy they said that Rankine would have possibly played last week if it was a Sat/Sun game...

I was a bit cautious but sounds like he is cherry ripe,

Only thing I would do ( at least for his first game back) is probably control his midfield minutes a little more and at best he is 50/50 mid/fwd rather than the 80/20 we saw in the Pies game.
People that pay money to the club deserve to see the best players out there if they’re fully fit, Rankine is one of the very few big draw cards we have. Resting him if he’s fully recovered would be another kick the nuts from them in this shit storm of a season.

Saw part of it only. Also saw a highlights package with plenty of good disposals.
It would have been easier to count the targets he missed than those he hit...highlights are just that...you dont want to see the lowlights package. And I'm a Pedlar fan but no way can you lack the composure and wretched disposal like that and come in.

Disagree, with respect. It would give the juniors some hope.
BF has been calling for ROB and Smith OUT for weeks. We can hardly complain when it happens.

I didnt really make my case clear, sorry. I will explain. He is making changes that should have occurred 8 weeks ago. (injuries aside). I have literally no problems with the changes.

Why would it be easier to count the missed ones? Were there more or fewer of those?

Apparently ROB does a hundred times more around the ground than Strachan,
 :confusedv1:
This is just plain wrong. ROB kicks worse than a 10yo (boy or girl) and can barely take an overhead mark (avges. less than 2/game).
Soligo is overrated, gets caught holding the ball too often, and is just not very good.
This is even worse. Are crows FB supporters really saying this (and above)?
Pedlar had a great game last week, and should be in
Actually, I wouldn't mind Pedlar in for Murphy.

ROB's marking has completely deserted him this year. Not sure what's gone wrong. Is the best feature of his game when he's up and going.

His actual ruckwork has been good.

His kicking has always been a weakness but has deteriorated to possibly the worst of any footballer who has ever played the game this year. Amazing that it could get worse from such an unbelievably low base.

And his efforts in link up handball play continue to be disastrous, as always. Why so many of our handball chains go through him is a mystery.

That still photo someone posted of his kicking action... my God. Doc - what have you been doing the last 6 years?

He shouldn't been losing his spot to Strachan but has played badly enough that he is. Needs an absolute rocket. Blight would have gone to town on him

It is the most pointless and idiotic analysis that people do on discussion forums and I would have thought Crows supporters learnt a lesson with Frampton getting regular games at a premiership contender.

Average players get games at every club, no best 22 is without weaknesses.

because there were far more of them smart ass
I didn't see the game at all, or highlights. It was a genuine question as to whether his game was good or not, as often people use that phrase the other way around.

Edit: I've also had 3 glasses of wine, but I certainly didn't mean to offend.

Blight would have gone to town on the lot of them after the Hawks game. Nick's decided not to train that week though..

Sorry if it's been mentioned before but what has happened to ROB. Listed as an out in the SANFL . Injury?
Emergency probably. And then they come back in.
