I would swap Knight for VB, and maybe Cheney for Hartigan

Don't think it's a case of "find form" for VB anymore. He just might not be good enough for AFL football.

Needs to regain that awareness around stoppages and add a little polish. Some midfield time in the SANFL can improve both these areas. So I won't write him off. His turning cirlce is a huge worry though and moving when his centre of gravity is thrown off: not sure if that is purely because of his ankle or lack of core strength.

Leave Milera in. He needs 3 or so games exposure before he is dropped. MacKay didn't deserve to be dropped.

Henderson needs more SANFL time. It takes him a while to get to speed.

Knights or Hartigsn in is fine. VB out is fine.

Neither Atkins nor Cheney deserve to be dropped.

Cheney was solid defensively but he simply can't play against talls like Waite.
Atkins was classy and did some great things, particularly attacking kicks

Call me stupid, but I would consider Menzel. We lack finesse and if we had him and not McGovern or VB on some of those plays in the 4th we might have won.

We'll need another tall vs. Port I reckon. Tals/Lever can handle Dixon/Schulz. The third tall is Westhoff. I do not rate him at all so let him float around half-back/wing doing SFA but someone just has to make sure to keep an eye on him when he floats forward by himself. Shaw/Hendo might be a shot at this if Lever is playing the CHB role. It doesn't even have to be a hard tag other than when he's 60 or closer out.

Could not disagree more if I tried. Saying if we had Hartigan we would have won is laughable. Brown and Petrie barely had an impact on the game. Petrie had 6 POSSESSIONS. Brown got a gimmie goal and kicked another set shot goal, that's it.

We got outrun and were ill-disciplined. That's why we lost. Not because Kyle ****ing Hartigan didn't play.

We were shitloads inexperienced with Milera and McLovin on 0 games.

Betts and Walker need to do better next time too.

I watched the game tonight and what stood out most to me was North's tall forwards taking control in the air. I would have thought you guys would be looking to bring in another bigger defender if you have anyone available?

I think Mackay did more useful things that Atkins and made less mistakes. Stuck some nice tackles, kicked a goal, was involved in some defensive stops. Atkins was very average tonight. Tbh probably not the worst player and should keep his spot. I very much doubt there will be many changes if any.
