Don't think he's being pinned as a KPD. His role is to peel off and support the 2 talls
So a 3rd tall at 186 cm?!

Personally I would prefer my 3rd tall to be at least half a foot taller and more mobile version of Cheney.

There is a reason he failed at Hawthorn playing the role on big key forwards and I don't understand why we are going down the same path for the 2nd year in a row. Cheney could be a very good player for us as a medium defender playing on big resting midfielders when they push forward (especially with the reduced interchange cap) but we continue to play him on big guys. We played him on Waite on the weekend and it didn't work out well. Not Cheney's fault but he is getting asked to do something that is just so against the odds.

It's like that time we played Massie on Franklin even through we had much better options available to match up on him.

Shaw for VB is the perfect solution as he provides the height, yet can also play on mediums quite comfortably.

Can play in a defensive role or a more attacking role, quite adept at intercept marking.

Oh and of course Knight for Mackay.

Anyway, back to reality…looking forward to the axing of genuine young talent tonight :(

I'm a Cheney fan but this so obvious it hurts!! Our selectors botched last week, let's hope todays effort is far better.

I hope neither VB or Cheney are expected to go near Grey. He'll destroy them.

I was at the game, Sloane was applying actual pressure constantly - more than anyone else on the ground for me. Couldn't believe how hard he was working. Sure he didn't stand out for a nice goal, or run down the wing, but he played well in that regard.

I'd much rather be tackled by Mackay any day of the week than Sloane, Mackay would most likely grab on for a second and end up on the ground like usual.

Thanks for making my point of no matter what David does it's never good enough.
I'll stand by my constant message neither VB or David will get dropped until those in the SANFL are back to full fitness along with the fact they are playing better than the whipping boys.

Is Crouch injured?

Mackay out before Van Berlo? Jesus Christ.

Crouch got too many clearances. Needs to stop that

(I just made up those selections based on something that would make me angry, but that I could see happening)

I'm so angry...is this legit info?

We are a joke if true. There is no defending this. If it's purely for finger pointing that would be a gross error in preparation and planning.
No but expect it to be what happens
