What he’s suggesting isn’t disrupting team structure. Playing Bond keeps it. Strange post.
Right? Having a lockdown player’s going to be incredibly important against a team like the Hawks

It’s not like Bond’s some spud we’d be gifting a game, either

Only a bit

Their list is shot
Look likely to get some very big assistance from their F/S's and NGA's in the next few years via Louis Salopek, Tevan Rodan, Dougie Cochrane and Zemes Pilot etc with all projecting as possible 1st round picks even this far out....and the advent of the Tassie Devils won't therefore hit them as hard via the draft as other clubs.

I mentioned this in another thread. In 2017 a huge number of our players were at their peak and had no more improvement in them. 2025, we have so many players who still have room for improvement and are still capable of going up a level. I dont think Keane, Worrall, Max, Peatling, Rachele, Rankine, Curtin, Fog, Thilthorpe, Soligo, Cumming, Pedler have peaked yet.

History says 1 MAYBE 2 will make that step.

Nah, Bond is a depth guy. You don't disrupt your team structure to give player 35+ a game.

Draper maybe, but not Bond.
You had better watch some more SANFL Kristof, seriously Hughey like a lot of our youngsters has really started taking the game on and his number one work on his kicking has improved massively, all credit to him.

Completely shut out Willie Rioli yesterday, so much so Hartlett had to move Willie on ball in an effort to get him into the game. Hugh aside from his kicking has really added a far more attacking side to his game, hell he even slotted a goal yesterday.

35+ LOL

Cannot agree with this. Bond is natural choice as small defender if Michalanney is out.

Good: What an incredible performance by the whole team. Now that guys like Murphy are out of the team we don't have any passengers. Sure guys like Cook and Taylor don't get a heap of the ball, but when they do it's always a quality possession.

I was actually a little concerned about this game with the weather forecast thinking it would even up the teams. I couldn't have been more wrong. Port showed absolutely no ticker at all last night, bar 5min in the first quarter. It was very un-Showdown like from them.

Filthy, he just continues to amaze me with his skills. His cleanliness with the ground ball for such a big bloke is unheard of, even in the horrid conditions last night.

I was pleased to see that in the last quarter that we had Curtin, Taylor and Pedlar attending centre bounces, and Soligo got even better when he was moved up forward. We are getting quite the flexibility in our team.

And to think we have Rachelle to come back!

Ugly (for Port): They still think they have a good list and a new coach will turn them around. That was the most insipid performance I've seen from them in a very long time, especially in a showdown. May it continue for many years!

I was hoping to see Ken smiling in the box in the last quarter just to throw the Port supporters into an absolute frenzy!

Yeah really liked how they gave different players a run through the middle, Jones included. That’s 2 weeks now

Plenty on their board highlighting that too

I've not really seen enough of him, but the speed at which some (on here too) have elevated that player to Butters, JHF, Rozee levels is incredible.

He's gone from being a player that catches the eye of us, 'he looks like a bit of a player', to now rated as an elite player.

Maybe it's warranted, maybe it's a little early.

Tuning in to 5AA for a lol but they've got ANB providing the most inspired description of team contested work i've ever heard, this guy is a cut above
I'm still concerned about our lack of finals experience. ANB and Murray Davis will be crucial for us in the finals.

Crouch is going to play wing or HFF?

Get off the bongs bro

He can play one position and we have better, his career is probably done sadly
It should've been done 5 years ago when we tried to get rid of him two years in a row and not one of the 17 other clubs wanted him.
