Wow, the about face on that on Monday will be interesting. I think he’ll laugh it off on air, but will be grovelling to Port behind closed doors.

The constant whinging about umpiring when a Vic side is on the wrong end of things. Its absolutely glorious.

But it’s also why we needed to get that top 2 spot because you just know we'd be up against it.

I’ve seen them whining about the short throw in that led to Peatling kicking a goal, yet that same vision shows Pendlebury blocking Thilthorpe who was rucking, instant free.

Which is how the umpires interpreted it also. Insane overreaction from the commentators who were disgraceful all night.

In the last quarter Thilthorpe's shoulder started to bother him. I think there was enough pain to affect his running. And his shoulder was lower one side.

I hope he recovers.

With all the other things running around in my head. This seems the most important.

I think the week off before finals will help him immensely, along with restricted training.

It does look bleak for them, I don't think Carr is going to be a magic fix, it'll take years and hard work. I'm not sure Port will be patient enough to allow Carr to build anything of substance. They kept Kenny way too long they'll cut Carr as soon as he's underperforming in their eyes.

Not many coaches survive the Rebuild, hell a lot of ours wanted Nicks gone some still do and he has us top of the ladder. It's all about who you surround the coach with, Murray Davis has been an exceptional find and Jack Hombsch has proven himself to be an insanely good defensive line coach to get our bunch of "no names" to be the best in the league.

Are there still people that think the commentators aren't incredibly biased towards Vic sides? Dunstall and Lyon were barracking for the Pies all night. You can even hear Lyon refer to the Pies as "we" like he's one of their supporters.

I'm pretty disappointed with Dunstall. He was graceful in our shit years but now that we're decent, he sees us as a threat and his Victorian lizard brain instincts are kicking in.

Fox has been almost unwatchable this year - their displeasure is palpable. Even Huddo doesn't seem to like it sometimes and he's usually the best in the business.

Amazing: Defence. That was gargantuan and heroic.

Ugly: Lyon and Dunstall cheering everything Collingwood did. Launching an inquiry into the Rankine free but saying nothing when Daicos dived. The riding of Collingwood in the last minute was gross for a so called national media.

We watched the first half in the BA first lounge at Heathrow. Hubby chose the quiet section. We were watching kayo (using vpn) and I don’t know how many times in that first half I had to get up and walk away! Bloody Nora, the umpiring was so bad!

We watched it in a sports bar in Melbourne. I wore my crows scarf so there was no hiding. That first half was horrendous. I am genuinely bemused that the pies are complaining and blind to the ride that they got in the first half.

Lucky a lot of Victorian non-pie supporters were cheering for us too. The last few minutes was tense with back and forward goals but when Dawson took that mark we started screaming!!

According to Twitter we will get our karma from the umpires…..ummm I kinda think we are due it

AFL and media need a Vic team in the GF. The thought of two non-Vic teams again terrifies them, particularly if it's GC or GWS

Particularly after last year when it was Brisbane v Sydney.

Lyon banging on about coaching moves, or lack of, was boring as hell. Give me Dwayne or BT any day, at least I’m entertained to some extent. Bias from commentators doesn’t bother me, it’s part of the fabric. Just like whinging about umpires in the game day thread when it’s totally unwarranted.

No doubt, same as when he’s bagged the club when emotionally heightened, he always reverses it the next day. Says what he believes in the moment and then ‘clarifies’ the next time he’s on air.

Ugly: The guy infront of me got up and left with 3:11 to go on the clock in clutch time in one of the critical games of the season.

He always leaves 2 mins early and has missed Thilly's late goal a few games ago.

Traffic must really annoy him to miss being part of that crowd roar.
