If Walker and Dawson are fit they come in. Team balance a bit of an issue as we don't have an obvious replacement for Laird, I think it's probably either Nankervis or Jones who come out. Both had poor games against Geelong, Jones probably worse but I think he's more reliable defensively.

100% Nah Id argue Murphy did more. As a board we have walked past an incredibly substandard AFL player and allowed him to skate through criticism and ive always wondered on the back of what? Sholl, Dowling did more every game they played. He is not even a great Sanfl player. He should never have set foot in this team this year yet Nicks goes out of his way to reward mediocrity because they have played AFL before.

I think they WANT Pedlar to be a good player

Murphy had no talent but worked his arse off, Pedlar has talent but has lost that manic desire for the footy he had in his first couple of years.

He gives us nothing

Yet one is one of the all-time biggest whipping boys whereas the other still has a few defending him to the hilt.

He's now a sixth year player averaging under 10 disposals a game and roughly a goal predominantly playing forward. Nowhere near enough, and there's enough evidence now that he's not going to make it.

Him and Jones should be easy outs and delists at season's end.

Losing to the dogs at home puts us under severe pressure to beat Freo next week.

With the rest and ins we are capable. Particularly if Nicks just lets them play.

Get to 2 and 2 and we can at least take a par scorecard into a much easier stretch of games. 7 and 3 after 10 would be just fine.
